>a lonely feral horse poets united poetry pantry #19

>

(She dreams of companionship)
Sun shines on her mane
Butterflies surround her
A mustang neighs, wants
to rest – deeply
She must lie down

Alone – she cannot achieve this,
She must keep watch
A beautiful feral horse is left alone
While sleeping, standing up
