“Once Upon a Nightline Sky” November #16 Poem-a-day:once upon a…

Flightless, she’s bound to earth,
a paradox of melodic sounds
through horizons of gilded fences
on the edge of a shore …

Music is solemn in its forlorn chord;
waves move closer, sharing wings,
waiting for a melody
Visits are lonesome brevity

  1. Thought-provoking words. How often we all wait for melody!

  2. I just now saw this, Mary. Thanks, and yes that is so true.

I appreciate all comments.
